Abstract

Abstract One of the crucial problems faced by vocational education is the competence of graduates who do not meet the criteria for the qualifications of students' abilities according to specified standards. A number of factual constraints include many SMKs that do not yet have a training center, which allows SMK students to carry out industrial work practices.This study aims to determine the implementation of the Management of Production Units and the factors that become obstacles in their implementation. This research was conducted at the Integrated Vocational School Fathul Majid Kasiman. This research is descriptive research. Data collection uses observation, interview and documentation techniques. Data analysis through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and verification / conclusion drawing.The results showed that: (1) The implementation of the Production Unit planning was not good enough in terms of human resources, products and marketing. (2) the organization of the Production Unit is still not maximized even though there is a division of tasks. (3) Implementation of the Production Unit is already running but there are still many obstacles in its implementation. (4) The supervision of the Production Unit has run well which is carried out directly by the School Principal and the Expertise Competency Chair. Keywords: Management, Production Unit
