Abstract

This study aims to (1) describe and explain the educational values contained in Sapardi Djoko Damono's Triangle Novel (2) to find out the intrinsic elements in Sapardi Djoko Damono's Triangle Novel (3) and its relationship to Indonesian language learning. in senior high school. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The data collection procedure in this study is in the form of text, so the data collection method uses a recording system. The data analysis technique used is reading repeatedly and then categorizing the data obtained. The object of the research is the educational values in the novel Segi Tiga by Sapardi Djoko Damono. This data is in the form of excerpts from words, phrases, clauses and sentences which contain educational values. The results of this study are: (1) the value of religious education (there are 5 data), (2) the value of moral education (there are 3 data) (3) the value of social education (there are 7 data), (4) the value of cultural education (there are 5 data). ,). As well as the intrinsic elements in the novel Segi Tiga, there are themes, characters/characters, setting, point of view, language style, and mandate. The relationship between the analysis of educational values and learning in high school is the existence of basic competencies.
