Abstract

This study aims to describe and explain aspects of the main character's personality and educational values in the novel Pulang Ke Desa by Didik Wahyudi. This study seeks to describe the data systematically, in detail, and in depth and the results of data analysis obtained by researchers are in the form of quotations from the novel. The presence of researchers plays an important role, because researchers act as research instruments as well as data collectors. The object of research in this study is the novel Pulang Ke Desa which was chosen as the data source in this research. Data collection techniques in this study are reading and note-taking techniques. Checking the validity of the findings of this study using source triangulation techniques, namely by searching for data information using more than one source of information. Based on data analysis, it was found that there are aspects of the main character's personality and educational values in the novel Pulang Ke Desa by Didik Wahyudi. The form of personality aspects found as many as 4 aspects of personality while the educational value of 4 educational values consisted of the value of religious education 5 data, the value of moral education 8 data, the value of social education 3 data, and the value of character education 4 data.
