Language errors are an inherent symptom (something that cannot be separated) with the language learning process. To understand the process of language errors among students who are learning a language, it is necessary to understand the concepts of language learning. This study aims to determine the structure of the descriptive text written by the seventh grade students of MTs Islamiyah Blora. The structures studied include 1) spelling errors in descriptive text, 2) phonemes errors in descriptive texts, 3) grammatical errors, 4) wording errors in descriptive texts, and 5) sentence errors in descriptive texts. This research is a qualitative descriptive study using a qualitative approach with a subject of 20 students. Data collection techniques in this study using data analysis techniques. The data analysis technique uses the theory of Milles and Huberman which consists of 1) data reduction, 2) data presentation, and 3) drawing conclusions. Data validation technique using source triangulation and method triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the descriptive text written by the seventh grade students of MTs Islamiyah Blora from 20 students found 52 errors. Keyword: language error, descriptive text.
