Abstract

The problem in this study is the low mathematics learning outcomes of seventh grade students of SMP Pancasila Dander. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Google Classroom-based blended learning model on the mathematics learning outcomes of grade VII students on the subject of quadrilaterals at SMP Pancasila Dander in the 2020/2021 academic year. The type of research used is quasi-experimental quantitative research. The research design used is The Non Equivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study were all seventh grade students of SMP Pancasila Dander in the 2020/2021 academic year. The sample of this study was class VII A with a total of 30 students as the control class and class VII B with a total of 30 students as the experimental class. This data collection technique is Cluster Random Sampling. The data collection method used is the documentation method and the test method. The research instrument used was a test of students' mathematics learning outcomes which consisted of 8 description questions which previously consisted of 10 description questions which were tested with content validity, internal consistency validity, reliability, difficulty level and differentiating power. The data analysis technique used the t test technique with Separated Variance formula and analysis of prerequisite tests were carried out including the normality test using the Lilliefors method, and the homogeneity test using the Bartlett method, and the balance test using the two-party t test.
