Abstract

Learning style is a way of learning that is often used by students to absorb, organize and process the information they get in the learning process. This study aims to find out how students' learning styles relate to mathematics learning outcomes in the function relation material for class VIII junior high school students in the COVID-19 pandemic era. The subjects in this study were students of class VIII MTs Darud Tauhid. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The instruments used in collecting data in this study were questionnaires, interviews, learning outcomes of mathematics, material relations functions and documentation. The results of this study indicate that of the three learning styles, namely visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning styles, the most prominent is the kinesthetic learning style. Kinesthetic learning styles have the best learning outcomes than auditory and kinesthetic learning styles. Visual learning style has better learning outcomes than auditory learning style but not better than kinesthetic learning style. Auditory learning style has the lowest learning outcomes than kinesthetic and visual learning styles. Keyword: Learning Style, Mathematics Learning Outcomes, Covid-19 Pandemic
