Abstract

Abstrak: The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in the learning outcomes of students who study using powtoon media with students who use Microsoft word files in the subject of Economics, the subject matter of International Trade, students of class XI IPS at SMA Negeri 1 Kasiman in the academic year 2020/2021. This research is quasi-experimental. Population all students in class XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Kasiman. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling technique. For the experimental class class XI IPS 1 and the control class XI IPS 2. Data collection techniques using observation, tests, and documentation. The test instrument used is a test of validity, reliability, level of difficulty and discriminatory power. The initial prerequisite test used was the normality, homogeneity test, and the balance test. The calculation of the hypothesis test used is a one-party t-test. From the results of the calculation of the hypothesis test the value of is 1,673 and the value of is 5,252 at a significant level of 5% with dk = 56. The value of > thus DK which means H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So it can be concluded that there are differences in learning outcomes between students who learn using powtoon media and students who use Microsoft word files in the subject of Economics, the subject of International Trade for the 2020/2021 academic year.
