Abstract

Many residents of Geger Village run shallot farming, because shallot farming is able to provide greater profits. However, during the production process, the production costs incurred by shallot farmers are also large in number. This research was conducted with the aim of analyzing production costs, income, and the feasibility of onion farming in Geger Village, Kedungadem District, Bojonegoro Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach. The data used are: 1) Primary data, obtained directly from 10 shallot farmers, 2) Secondary data, obtained from the Geger Village Archives. Collecting data using interview and observation techniques. The results of this study indicate that the production costs of shallots are divided into two types, namely: fixed costs and variable costs. The total production cost of 10 onion farmers is Rp. 214,244,000., the average production cost is Rp. 21,424,400/shallot farmer. The income of shallot farmers consists of, revenues and profits. The total revenue from 10 shallot farmers is Rp.264,000,000., the average revenue is Rp. 26.400.000/shallot farmer. The total profit of 10 shallot farmers is Rp. 49,756,000., the average profit is Rp. 4,975,600/shallot farmer. Based on the R/C Ratio 1.23, the profitability value is 23.22%, and the land lease value is Rp. 4,975,600 > Rp.0. So it can be decided that onion farming in Geger Village, Kedungadem District, Bojonegoro Regency is feasible to be used as a business. Keywords: Income, Feasibility, Farming, Shallots.
