Abstract

The implementation of the Google Meet application is reviewed in terms of the learning process and student responses. This study aims to describe the application of the Google Meet application in economic sociology learning at IKIP PGRI Bojonegoro. This research is a qualitative research using a qualitative descriptive approach. The population in this study were students of Economic Education level III, Faculty of Social Education at IKIP PGRI Bojonegoro for the academic year 2020/2021 with a total of 32 students. Collecting data using the method of observation, interviews. Based on the results of research on economic sociology learning using the Google Meet application during the covid-19 pandemic, it consists of three activities, namely opening activities, core activities, and closing activities. But in reality, the opening, core and closing activities in the Google Meet application seem vague, but each activity has been carried out and the learning objectives have been achieved. The Google Meet application can be accepted by students in online learning besides the benefits of Google Meet are also optimal and facilitate learning activities.
