Abstract

Abstract This study aims to find out how to use the internet as a learning resource and to find out the inhibiting factors in using the internet as a learning resource for Civics learning in class VIII SMP At-tajdid Cepu Blora. This research method is qualitative by using a qualitative descriptive approach. The population that will be used in this research is the students of class VIII at SMP At-tajdid Cepu Blora totaling 18 students. Collecting data using the method of observation, interviews, documentation. The results of internet research are widely used as a learning medium if learning is still not understood, it can be a place to find answers in doing assignments from teachers and become a place to look for other insights if the book does not find what is needed. There are so many factors that can influence students in using the internet as a learning resource, such as the lack of facilities in schools, the old internet network and the many sites that spread wrong information. Teachers must also be able to guide students in the use of internet media as a learning resource so that students do not get caught up in hoax news found on the internet.
