Abstract

This study aims to determine the form of code switching and code mixing in learning at MTs. Mujahidin Sambong and to determine the purpose of code switching and code mixing in learning at MTs. Mujahidin Sambong. The data of this research is the speech of teachers and students in learning Indonesian in class VIII MTs. Mujahidin Sambong Year 2021/2022 which contains the form of code switching and code mixing. The subjects of this study were students and teachers of class VIII. Data collection techniques using observation, recording, and notes. Testing the validity of the data using triangulation techniques. Researchers can check research results by utilizing existing sources, methods, and theories. Based on data analysis, it was found that there were forms of code switching and code mixing that occurred in Indonesian Language Learning in Class VIII MTs. Mujahidin Sambong, namely internal and external code switching. Researchers found 25 forms of code switching in the first video. In addition, the researchers found 13 forms of code switching. This research found 16 forms of code mixing and there are 28 forms of code mixing Keyword: code switching, code mixing, Indonesian language learning, class VIII MTs. Mujahidin Sambong
