Abstract
The study, entitled variations of educational advertising language on Instagram social media and its relationship with Indonesian language learning in high school, aims to describe the use of educational advertising language variations on Instagram social media and find out its relationship with Indonesian language learning in high school. The type of research used in this study is a qualitative descrptive research type. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation techniques and documentation techniques. Checking the validity of the data in this study using triangulation techniques. According to the results of the data that has been found there are language variations in educational advertisements uploaded on Instagram social media. There are 21 Instagram posts and 30 data have been found. As for the variations in terms of formality, they include a) official or formal variety consisting of 2 data, b) business or consultative variety consisting of 19 data, c) casual or casual variety consisting of 5 data, and d) intimate or intimate variety consisting of 4 data.
