Abstract

Public service is an activity or series of activities in the context of fulfilling service needs in accordance with statutory regulations for every citizen and resident of goods, services, and/or administrative services provided by public service providers. This study aims to determine the implementation of services by the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Bojonegoro Regency to the community; to find out the obstacles in the implementation of services by the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Bojonegoro Regency to the community. This study uses a qualitative method. Through the snowball sampling technique, supporting informants were obtained, namely 2 (two) employees in the field of population registration and civil registration services. Data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and questionnaires. Data analysis technique with qualitative descriptive. The results of this study indicate that public services at the Office of Population and Civil Registration of Bojonegoro Regency can be assessed from 9 aspects of SKM getting a good category. The value obtained is above point 3. Namely in the service of birth certificates, family cards and Identity Cards. There are several obstacles that are encountered and affect the process of providing quality public services, including public awareness to prepare everything that is a requirement in carrying out an affair.
