Abstract

The Influence of Learning Discipline and Learning Environment on Social Studies Subject Learning Achievement for Grade VIII Semester I SMP Negeri 1 Sumberrejo, Bojonegoro Regency Academic Year 2021/2022 : Thesis on Economics Education, FKIP, IKIP PGRI University BOJONEGORO, Supervisor (I) Ali Mujahidin, S .Pd.,M.M (II) Ali Noeruddin, S.Si., M.Pd Keywords: Learning Discipline, Learning Environment, Learning Achievement This research is motivated by the low value of student learning outcomes. This is due to the lack of student learning discipline in obeying existing rules and a small sense of self-awareness, in addition to the lack of a conducive atmosphere or the lack of comfort and support from the student environment for learning. where every student wants a comfortable learning environment that supports students in carrying out the learning process well. This study aims to find out 1) The significant influence between learning disciplines on social studies learning achievement for class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Sumberrejo, Bojonegoro Regency 2) The significant influence between the learning environment on social studies learning achievement for class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Sumberrejo, Bojonegoro Regency Academic year 2021/ 2022. 3) Significant influence between learning discipline and social studies learning environment for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Sumberrejo, Bojonegoro Regency, 2021/2022 This research is a quantitative study using the Ex-Post Facto method with a population of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Sumberrejo, Bojonegoro Regency, for the 2021/2022 Academic Year. The sampling technique used in this study is a simple random sampling technique with a total of 107 students as respondents. The results of this study indicate that, 1) there is a significant influence between learning discipline on the learning achievement of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Sumberrejo, Bojonegoro Regency, for the 2021/2022 academic year. This can be proven by looking at the significance value of 0.000 > 0.05 and the regression coefficient value on the learning discipline variable (X1) of 0.677 which is positive and the value of tcount > ttable is 9.423 > 1.983. 2) there is a significant influence between the learning environment on the learning achievement of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Sumberrejo, Bojonegoro Regency, for the 2021/2022 academic year. This can be proven by looking at the significance value of 0.000 > 0.05 and the value of the learning environment regression coefficient (X2) of 0.645 which is positive and the value of tcount > ttable is 8.647 > 1.983. 3) There is a simultaneous significant influence between the variables of learning discipline (X1) and Learning Environment (X2) on the learning achievement of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Sumberrejo, Bojonegoro Regency, for the 2021/2022 academic year. This is evident from the F value of 48.86 at a significance of 0.000. Based on the results of the research above, it can be concluded that there is an influence of learning discipline and learning environment on social studies learning achievement, with the coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.484 or 48.4%. From the conclusions, it is suggested that students apply more discipline to themselves, and the existing environment helps optimally in order to get optimal learning outcomes.
