Abstract

This study aims to analyze the intrinsic elements of the novel “ Sesuap Rasa” by Catz Link Tristan and their relationship to learning in high school. The presence of researchers in this study is very important, because researchers are data collectors and research instruments. The object of this researchers is the novel “ Sesuap Rasa” by Catz Link Tristan which was chosen as the data source in this study. Researchers used qualitative descritive methods and checked the validity of the information on data result using more than one information. Researchers can check data findings by utilizing existing theories and data sources. Based on the analysis of existing data, there is data on the existence of the data taken is the whole of the novel “ Sesuap Rasa” by Catz Link Tristan. The relationship between this research and learning Indonesian in high school is in the novel. With indicators student are able to find content of the intrinsic elements of language. So that there is a relationship that examines a literature which in the end can find out in the extent to which student understanding determines the intrinsic elements in Indonesian novel in high school.
