Abstract

Literary work is an expression of human problems wiht life, besides that, literary works are an interpretion of the essence of life life and the meaning of life in all its aspects. Literary works according to there are three kinds of varieti, namely the novel. In the novel itself there are elements of literary psychology as in the novel Lapor Komandan by Yunai. This reseacrh aims to describe the forms of literary psychology that is in the novel Lapor Komandan by Yunai and his relationship with Indonesia language learning in high school. In this study, researchers used Abraham Maslow’s literary psychology theory. The method used in the research this is a setence that contains a qualitative descriptive from. Research data this is a sentence that contains a form of literary psychology. Data source obtained directly form the novel Lapor Komandan by Yunai. Collection technique the data used are in the of reading and note-taking techniques. The result of this study shows that there is a form of literary psychology in the novel Lapor Komandan by Yunai’s work are psychologycal needs, security needs, need for love and belonging need for self-esteem, need for self-actualization. The five form of literary psychology are associated with Indonesia language learning in high school, especially in KD 3.9 analyzing the content and language of the novel.
