Abstract

The tourism industry in the world, especially in Indonesia, is currently experiencing very rapid development. However, the emergence of the Corona Virus (Covid-19) in December 2019, has had an impact on various areas of life. Therefore resulting in a decrease in visitors at tourist attractions. Wahana Kampoeng Drenges conducts promotions through social media such as Facebook and Instagram. The promotion is done to attract potential visitors and make the place more known by many people. So this study aims to determine whether there is an influence of social media Facebook and Instagram on increasing the number of visitors to Wahana Kampoeng Drenges. This study uses a quantitative approach. The data analysis techniques used are validity test and reliability test, classical assumption test with normality test, multicollinearity test and homogeneity test, coefficient and regression analysis with coefficient of determination (R2) and multiple linear regression, and the hypothesis test used is t test and test f. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant effect of social media Facebook and Instagram on increasing the number of visitors to Wahana Kampoeng Drenges.
