Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to describe the mathematical reasoning ability of students seen from the use of the gamification feature in the Quizizz application. The method used in this research was descriptive qualitative. The subjects in this study were 14 students of class X of SMA Nurul Ulum Gayam in 2021/2022. This study uses the method of observation, tests, interviews, and filling out a response questionnaire. From the data analysis, students with high mathematical reasoning ability are able to understand and solve problem solving quickly and precisely. Students with moderate mathematical reasoning abilities are also able to understand problems and plan problem solving, but there are obstacles when using the Quizizz application. Students with low mathematical reasoning ability cannot fulfill the 4 indicators of mathematical reasoning ability. Students' responses to attitudes and interests in using Quizizz in the very good category were 21% and the good category was 79%.
