Abstract

This research aims to; (1) explain how the Think-Talk-Write (TTW) technique can improve the quality of the argumentation paragraph process for class VIII D students of SMP Negeri 1 Cepu, Blora Regency and (2) to explain how the Think-Talk-Write (TTW) technique can improve the quality of results. write an argumentative paragraph for class VIII D SMP Negeri 1 Cepu for the academic year 2021-2022. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The location of this research is in SMP Negeri 1 Cepu, Blora Regency. The data sources in this study are Indonesian language teachers and class VIII D students of SMP Negeri 1 Cepu, Blora Regency. The data analysis technique used qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. The results showed an increase in learning processes and outcomes. This is evidenced by the increase in student activity, in the first cycle obtaining a total score of 52.4%, while the student presentation has not been completed by 47.6%. In the second cycle the percentage increase increased by 90.4% while the percentage of students who had not finished was 9.6%. So it can be said that the Think-Talk-Write (TTW) technique is able to improve student outcomes in writing argumentative paragraphs. This is evidenced in the pre-cycle 4 students who have completed and 24 students have not completed, in the first cycle 18 students have completed and 10 students have not completed and the second cycle 26 students have completed and 2 students have not completed.
