Abstract
This study aims to describe the application of a combination of Discovery Learning and Problem Solving learnig models in economics class VIII MTs Thoriqotul Falah. This research is a qualitative research using a qualitative descriptive approach . Population in this study amounted to 28 students. Data collection using observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that process of learning activities by applying a combination of Discovery Learning and Problem Solving runs well and smoothly. Learning by applying this learning models is effective and fun. This is evidenced from the evaluation method through student learning outcomes tests and student perceptions which state that 89.3% strongly agree and 10,7 % agree that learning by applying a combination of learning models is effectively used in the teaching and learning process.
