Abstract
Sevian, M. R. A. 2023. Analysis of Language Style in Song Lyrics in the Human Works album Tulus and its Relationship with Indonesian Language Learning in High School. Thesis, Language and Arts Education Study Program, IKIP PGRI Bojonegoro. Advisor (I) Sutrimah, M.Pd., (II) Fitri Nurdianingsih, M.Pd. Keywords- language style, song lyrics The research entitled Analysis of Language Style in the Song Lyrics in the album Human Karya Tulus and its Relationship with Indonesian Language Learning in High School was conducted with the aim of describing the style of language contained in the song lyrics in the album Human Karya Tulus and related to Indonesian Language Learning in High School This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The presence of researchers plays an important role, because researchers act as research instruments as well as data collectors. The research object in this study, namely the song lyrics in the album Human by Tulus was chosen as the data source in this study. Data collection techniques using document analysis. the validity of the validity of the data using triangulation. Researchers can check their findings by utilizing existing sources, methods, and theories. Based on data analysis, it was found that there is a style of language in the song lyrics in Tulus's Human album. The stylistic aspects of the song lyrics in the album Human by Tulus consist of, a.) comparative language styles, namely depersonification and antithesis, b.) conflicting language styles, namely hyperbole and climax, c.) linking language style, namely asindenton, d.) repetition language style namely alliteration, asonance, epizeukis as much, anaphora, epistrofa, and epanalepsis. The relationship between this research and Indonesian language learning in high school is found in the SK (Competency Standards) of class X semester II regarding student creativity in analyzing language styles.
