Keywords: Two Stay Two Stray Cooperative Learning Model (TSTS), Mathematical Communication Ability Students' mathematical communication abilities in conveying ideas from students' thinking are still lacking even though the language of mathematical communication plays an important role in learning mathematics, conventional learning models that have been carried out by teachers at school have not been able to improve students' mathematical abilities to express mathematical ideas. cooperative learning type Two Stay Two Stray. This study aims to determine the effect of the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) Cooperative learning model on students' mathematical communication skills. The method in this study uses a quantitative approach. The type of research used in this research is Pre-Experiment and One Group Pretest-Posttest design. The population in this study were all students of class VII at SMP NEGERI 1 Ngambon which consisted of 7 classes. While the samples were taken using cluster random sampling and those selected were class VII D. Data collection was carried out using the pretest-posttest and documentation methods. The results of this study using SPSS obtained the value of Sig. of 0.000. Because 0.000 <0.05, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that there is an influence of the Type Two Stay Two Stray Cooperative learning model (TSTS) on students' mathematical communication skills. In addition, the SPSS results also obtained an R Square value of 0.718. This value means that the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) Cooperative learning model for students' mathematical communication skills is 71.8%.
