Thesis, Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, Faculty of Languages and Arts, IKIP PGRI BOJONEGORO, supervisor (1) Joko Setiyono, M.Pd. (2) Sujiran, M.Pd. Keywords : The Value of Character Education, Novel Dikta and Law, Learning in high school. This purpose of this study was description and explain by the value of character education in Dikta and Hukum by Dhia'an Farah and its relation to learning in SMA. The novel Dikta dan Hukum by Dhia'an Farah can be used as Indonesian language learning material in high school. This study used a qualitative descriptive method, the subject of this study is a novel, while the object of this research is the value of character education in the novel Dikta dan Hukum. The data collection technique used is reading and note-taking, based on this technique data collection can be carried out using the analysis model of reading novels, describing and analyzing data related to character education values, classifying data in the form of character education values, concluding results based on description and analysis data as a whole. The validity of the data was obtained through triangulation techniques. The results of this study indicated that the novel Dikta dan Hukum by Dhia'an Farah contains character education values, namely the values of hard work, religion, honesty, friendship, social care, and responsibility.
