Amalia Risky, Elsa, 2023. The difference in the influence of the talking stick learning model on the independence of PPKn learning for grade VII MTs Muhammadiyah 2 Kedungadem students. Junarti., M.Pd Keywords: Learning Independence, Talking Stick, Lecture (conventional) This study aims to determine the results of the independence of PPKn learning for grade VII students who use the lecture method (conventional), and use the talking stick learning model, then to find out the difference from the use of the lecture method (conventional) and talking stick learning model on the independence of PPKn learning for grade VII MTs Muhammadiyah 2 Kedungadem students, Bojonegoro Regency. The research was motivated by the importance of learning independence for MTs students in PPKn subjects. This study used two groups of pretest-postes design. The population of this study was all grade VII MTs Muhammadiyah 2 Kedungadem students totaling 131 students. The sampling technique used in the study was cluster random sampling. This technique is used to determine the experimental class and control class in a random way, so that the experimental class is class VII B with 36 students and the control class, class VII D with 34 students. Data analysis techniques in this study used questionnaires and observations. Based on the results of the questionnaire comparing the pretest and posttest values of the experimental class and the control class at the level of significance of 5%, the calculated significance was obtained in the experimental group, which was 0.941 > 0.05 lower than the control group, which was 0.944 > 0.05. Then it was concluded that the results showed thatthere was no significant difference in the independence of PPKn learning between experimental classes by applying the Talking Stick learning model and control classes by applying lecture learning methods (conventional).
