Keywords: Novel, Locutionary speech acts, illocutionary and perlocutionary, Pragmatics, Learning Indonesian in SMA. An analysis is needed in learning Indonesian at the senior high school level. In this study, researchers analyzed speech acts in a novel entitled Whiter Than Me by Dido Michielsen. This study aims to describe the forms and functions of the locutionary, illocutionary, and perlocutionary acts in Michielsen's novel Lagi Putih Dariku and to describe the relationship between speech acts in the novel Maura Putih Dariku by Dido Michielsen as an alternative for Indonesian language materials for analyzing novels and speech acts in learning in senior high school class XII even semester. This research includes the type of qualitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques in this study were reading techniques, note-taking techniques, and data grouping techniques. The reading technique is carried out by reading the entire novel and note-taking techniques, namely by recording some of the dialogues in the novel and then grouping techniques, namely by examining the recorded dialogues and classifying which ones include locutionary, illocutionary and perlocutionary speech. Checking the validity of the data in this study used observation persistence techniques and method triangulation. Perseverance of observation by reading data sources carefully to find data in relevant situations. Method triangulation was carried out to obtain references to speech act theory by checking various literature and documents in obtaining reference adequacy. The results of the study concluded that the data found in this study contained several utterances. The forms of speech are 51 data of locutionary data, 53 data of illocutionary data, and 51 data of perlocutionary data found in the novel Lagi Putih Dariku by Dido Michielsen.
