Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine whether there is a positive influence between economic learning by using cooperative learning type jigsaw to the results of student learning class XI in SMA 2 Sumberrejo Muhammadiyah. The population in this study is all students of class XI in SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Sumberrejo academic year 2016-2017. The sample is taken by cluster random sampling technique, which is taking the class randomly by drawing from the population which is assumed to be normal distribution and in the homogeneous condition, the sample is obtained class XI IPS-1 with the number of 28 students and class XI IPS-2 with total 30 students. The instrument used in this study is a test instrument. The test used is a multiple-choice test. Analysis of experimental research instrument result that is content validity, instrument reliability, and difficulty level of item. Initial stage in this research the initial data analyzed is the result of pre test problem of mid semester test. Initial phase analysis is tested for normality, homogeneity and equality of two averages. After the two samples were treated differently, a test was performed. Then the result of the test is used as the master data to determine the normality test and homogeneity test. Based on these tests, both the experimental and control groups were normal and homogeneous distributions. Based on the test results also obtained the data used as a basis in testing the research hypothesis. Obtaining test scores in the experimental group were average = 80, variance = 46.43, and standard deviation = 6.8. Obtaining test scores in the control group were mean = 60, variance = 60,34, and standard deviation = 7,8. Obtaining result of hypothesis test calculation on master data of experiment class and control class that is tcount = 7,894. Based on the tcount price obtained in the previous calculation is tct = 7,894. With dk = 57 5% error rate that is obtained ttable price = 2,0034. The result is tcount> ttable (7,894 > 2,0034). So it can be concluded that there is a positive and so influence between economic learning by using cooperative learning model of jigsaw type to the learning result of economic subjects on the principal of capital market student nahasan XI SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Sumberrejo academic year 2016/2017.
