Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of social interaction of students on the results of learning economic subjects of students class XI SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Sumberrejo Lesson 2016/2017. The type of research used in this study is quantitative research, this research is classified as associative research which aims to find out the possibility of causation, which is done by observing the data of the factors that are suspected to be the cause and effect of the independent variable is the student's social interaction on the dependent variable that is the result learn. The population of this study are students of class XI semester II SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Sumberrejo academic year 2016/2017 with the total population of 124 students. The sampling technique used to determine the sample class is cluster sampling. Classes that were sampled were class XI IPS 1 which amounted to 29 students. Data collection methods used were questionnaire / questionnaire method and documentation method. Questionnaire method / questionnaire as many as 15 items used to find data from social interaction of students and documentation method used to obtain data of learning result that is in the form of value of odd semester reporting student of class XI IPS 1 SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Sumberrejo academic year 2016/2017. The result of the experimental test of 15 question items shows that 15 items of question can be used for questionnaire items of students' social interaction based on content validation, validity of item test with product moment formula, and instrument reliability test. Variable in this research is student social interaction as independent variable and result of student learning as dependent variable. The prerequisite test used is normality test, linearity test and product moment correlation test. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression analysis with t test and coefficient of determination. Based on the results of research conducted in SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Sumberrejo obtained regression equation of Y = 51,592 + 0.537 X. Based on t test obtained thitung = 3.480. The degree of freedom dk = 27 and significant level5%, obtained price ttable = 1,703. The result is that thitung> ttable (3,480> 1,703) thus Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. The results of this study indicate that there is an effect of students' social interaction on the result of learning economic subjects of class XI SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Sumberrejo academic year 2016/2017 with a coefficient of determination of 0.310 which means the average ability of social interaction of students contribute to student learning outcomes of 31 , 0% through the regression equation Y = 51,592 + 0.537 X. The remaining 69.0% is determined by other factors. Keywords: Student Social Interaction, Student Learning Results.
