Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine whether there are differences in cooperative learning models type two stay-two stray and learning model lights to reach achievement learning ips students class viii semester ii in smp negeri 1 sumberrejo bojonegoro lesson year 2016/2017. The population in this study is all of the class VIII in SMP Negeri 1 Sumberrejo Bojonegoro academic year 2016/2017. The sample is taken by cluster random sampling technique, which is taking the class randomly by drawing from the population which is assumed to be normal distribution and in a homogeneous condition, the sample is obtained class VIII G and VIII H with the amount of each class of 28 students. The instrument used in this study is a test instrument. The test used is a multiple-choice test. Analysis of experimental research instrument result that is content validity, instrument reliability, difficulty level of item, and condensation. Initial phase in this research initial data analyzed is result of UAS value of IPS lesson. The step in early stage analysis is normality test, homogeneity test, and equilibrium test. After the two samples were treated differently, they performed a formative test. Then the result of the formative test is used as the parent data to determine the normality test and the similarity test of two variance (homogeneity). Based on that test, the experimental group and the control group are normal and homogeneous distributed. Based on the results of formative tests also obtained the data used as a basis in testing the research hypothesis. Obtaining the formative test of experimental group is average = 83,39, variance = 85,28, and standard deviation = 9,236. The result of formative test is control group that is mean = 70,35, variance = 48,01, and standard deviation = 6 , 93. Acquisition of hypothesis test result on master data of experimental class and control class thitung = 5,986. Based on the level of significance α = 5%; Degrees of freedom (dk) = 54; ; And { | }, then H0 is rejected because . So it can be concluded that there are differences in cooperative learning models type two stay-two stray and learning model lights to reach achievement learning ips students class viii semester ii in smp negeri 1 sumberrejo bojonegoro lesson year 2016/2017.
