Abstract

ABSTRACT Based on the results of research conducted at SMP 1 Kapas Bojonegoro showed that (1) there is a significant positive effect of communication on student learning outcomes social science subjects (IPS) students ofclass VIII SMP Negeri 1 Kapas Bojonegoro academic year 2016/2017 evidenced by obtained 0,002 < 0,05 which means H_0 is rejected and H_1 accepted. Communication coefficient obtained by 31.1%; (2) there is a significant positive effect of learning interaction on student learning result of social science subject (IPS) of VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Kapas Bojonegoro academic year 2016/2017 proved by obtained 0,016 < 0,05 meaning H_0 rejected and H_1 accepted. Obtained coefficient determination of student learning interaction equal to 24,0%; (3) there is a significant positive correlation together between communication and student learning interaction in learning outcomes of students social science subjects (IPS) students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Kapas Bojonegoro academic year 2016/2017 proved by obtained F_hitung = 13,033. The degree of freedom dk = 37 and 5% significant level, obtained price F_tabel = 3,32 thus H_0 rejected and H_1 accepted. Determination coefficient obtained simultaneously equal 41,3% the remaining 58,7% explained by other variables outside this study. Keywords : Communication, Learning Interaction, Learning Outcomes
