Abstract

ABSTRACK The application of NHT (Numbered Head Together) learning method, is expected to improve student learning achievement ips students. Because in essence, the use of methods that are not in accordance with the purpose of teaching will be an obstacle in achieving the objectives that have beenformulated. The title of this study is the influence of NHT type coopeative learning model (Numbered Head Together) on the learning achievement of ips subjects on the subject of employment class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Tambakrejo academic year 2016/2017 has a problem formulation, namely whether the use of learning model NHT (Numbered Heads Together) affect the achievement of learning subjects ips subject matter employment class VIII in SMP Negeri 1 Tambakrejo? This research is an experimental research with static group comparison design (the static group comparison design). The sample in this study were 22 students from class VIII-D as a trial class, 30 students from class VIII-A as experimental class, and 30 students from class VIII-B as control class. The result of this research is the learning of NHT (Numbered Heads Together) has an effect on the learning achievement of ips subject of labor subject of class VIII in SMP Negeri 1 Tambakrejo. It can be seen from the calculation result in chapter IV that the thit obtained by calculation with the t-test formula (Sparated variance) is 7,562 after consultation with ttab, with DK (Critical Region), which is 58, at the significance level of 5% (α = 0,05) equal to 1,673. It is known that thit is greater than ttab (7,562> 1,673). Thus, an alternative hypothesis is accepted Keyword: the learning of NHT (Numbered Head Together) and achievement
