Abstract

Abstract Purpose of the research is describe the form of the main character's moral values and the relationship between the moral values in Habiburrahman El Shirazy's novel Kembara Rindu and Indonesian language learning in junior high school. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The results of the study and discussion state that the novel Kembara Rindu contains moral values that can be linked to Indonesian language learning in junior high schools through the use of learning design text review material. Moral values are obtained by analyzing the values contained in the novel under study. These values are manifested in the behavior and character of the characters in the series of novel stories. The moral values contained in the novel include three types, namely human relations with God, human relations with oneself, human relations with others within the scope of the social environment.
