Abstract

Abstrak This study aims to describe the Characterization, The Value of Education the novel Kami Bukan Sarjana Kertas by J.S Khairen, its relationship with Indonesian language learning ini high school. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Data source obtained from the novel. The collection of data in this study is the repeated reading of the novel we are not paper scholars. This study has three stages, including: data reduction, data exposure, and drawing conclusions. Based on the result of study concluded: characterization of the novel we are not paper scholars there are 8 characterizations including the main character, additions, protagonist, antagonist, static, developing, simple and typical. Education value have religious, moral, social and cultural value. Her novel we are not paper scholars by J.S Khairen has a relationship with learning Indonesian in high school in Analyzing the intrinsic and extrinsic element of Indonesian novels or translations.
