Abstract

ABSTRACT Analysis of Language Style on Song Lyrics in the Mantra Albums by Kunto Aji and Their Relationship with Indonesian Language Learning in Senior High School. Thesis of Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program. Faculty of Languages and Arts Education IKIP PGRI Bojonegoro. Advisor (I) Abdul Ghoni Asror, M.Pd., (II) Moh. Fuadul Matin, S.S., M.Pd. The purpose of this study is to describe the style of language and the meaning contained in the song lyrics in the spell album by Kunto Aji and their relationship with Indonesian Senior high school learning. This research is a qualitative research using a qualitative descriptive approach. The research data collection technique is data analysis that is identifying data, data classification, data analysis, data description and data interpretation. The results of this study indicate that the style of language or speech in the song lyrics in the album spells by Kunto Aji there are 19 data. As for that (1) comparative language styles amounting to 6 data, including (a) personification of 2 data, hyperbole 4 data, (2) satire language style totaling 1 data, covering (a) irony 1 data, (3) affirmative language style totaling 9 data, including (a) repetition of 6 data, (b) anaphoric 2 data, (c) epiphora 1 data, (4) conflicting language style totaling 3 data, including (a) paradox 3 data. The relationship between this study and Indonesian Language Learning is that there is a SK (Competency Standard) in grade X semester II about student creativity in studying styles.
