Abstract

Abstract Keluarga Cemara movie’s is family drama produced by Visinema Pictures. This film is adaptation of famous TV series at 90th. The aim of the research to describe the characterization abah, psychology of abah, and relation with Indonesia language learning in high school. From the data analysis, it can be concluded that the main character (abah) as the head of the family has the nature of responbility, not easly discouraged, hard working, merciful, forgiving, gentle, patient, and firm. All phsychology need have been fulfilled from the most basic needs to the highest need, namely phsycologycal needs, security need, need for love and belonging, self-esteem need, and self actualization need. The result of this study can be used as material for learning Indonesian in high school. The use of film can be drama learning.
