Abstract

Abstrak This study aims to describe the educational value is the novel Dua Garis Biru by Lucia Priandarini in relation to learning Indonesian in high school. In the novel Dua Garis Biru by Lucia Priandarini there are four educational values, including religious educational values, moral educational values, social education, and culture education. This study used descriptive qualilitative method. The data source is obtained from the novel Dua Garis Biru by Lucia Priandarini. This novel was published in 2019. Data collection in this study consists of four stages, including: dara reducation, data exposure, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded: (1) The educational values of the novel Dua Garis Biru by Lucia Priandarini, there are four educational values, among others: The value of religious, namely worship, pray, and give thanks. The value of moral education is to apologize for making mistakes. Respecting others, giving advice, keeping promises, being sicare, and being polite to an older person. But there are also behaviours that should not be limited in a novel that is breaking the boundary without knowing the consequences. The value of social educations is sharing, help, friendship, and harmoniuous neighbor relations. The value of cultural educational is the culture of kissing hands is a culture that is widely practiced in the county of Indonesia, in addition to the form of respect for kissng hands also intends as a form of affection for older people. (2) Novel Dua Garis Biru by Lucia Priandarini has a relationship with learning Indonesian in high school, which can be seen in KD. 3.9 which reads analyzing the contents and linguistics of novel with indicators indentifying intrinsic and extrinsic elements in the novel.
