Abstract

Abstract The purposes of this study is to (1) Explain and describe the sociological values contained in the Srimenanti Karya Joko Pinurbo. (2) find out the relationship between literary analysis and Indonesian language learning in senior high school. This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research? The Data collection in this study uses library methods. Sources of data in this study were obtained from the novel Srimenanti by Joko Pinurbo. The results in this study showed that there are found various sociological values that exist in the novel Srimenanti by Joko Pinurbo; namely among others, social, economic, ethical, family and legal values. The five types of elements of literary sociology that often appear in the novel of Srimenanti by Joko Pinurbo. In addition to various sociological values, this study also found that there is relationship between this analysis research results and Indonesian language learning in senior high school in the 2013 curriculum, it can be used as teaching material.
