Abstract

Abstrack This study aims to analyze the types of speech acts and educational values in the novel Aisyah by Sibel Eraslan by using pragmatics and describing the meaning of speech used by the characters in the novel. The subject of this research is a novel by Sibel Eraslan. Suggestions used are pragmatics. The objects in this study are speech acts and educational values used by Aisyah's novel characters, speech act priorities and educational values that require the main characters. The main character is named Aisyah and Rasulullah. The results showed that Aisyah's novel had 3 types of speech acts and 4 types of educational values. Three types of speech acts in Aisyah novel are locutionary acts, illocutionary speech acts and perlocutionary speech acts. Whereas in educational values there are 4 types of educational values, namely cultural values, moral values, religious values, and social values. This research produces 28 speech acts in the novel Aisyah by Sibel Eraslan, consisting of locusions, illocution, and perlocution. The value of education in the novel Aisyah by Sibel Eraslan produces 49 educational value data consisting of cultural values, moral values, religious values, and social values. The relationship between Aisyah’s novel and learning in junior high school lies in KD 3.12. Examining the structure and language of the text reviews (films, short stories, novels, and regional artworks) are heard and read. Keyword: Speech act, educational value, novel
