Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study is to describe the forms of language errors which include errors at the morphological level which include errors in the process of affixation, composition, and reduplication in the persuasion text of students of class VIII MTs Al Huda Ngrejeng Purwosari Bojonegoro in the academic year 2019/2020. The form of this approach is a qualitative descriptive approach. This study describes or illustrates what is the problem, then analyzes and interprets existing data. This data collection is done through observation. This data analysis technique is done through data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. Data collection techniques used are read and note. In collecting data the researcher reads the persuasion text then observes language errors according to the field of morphology which includes affixation. composition and reduplication. To maintain the validity of the data triangulation of data is carried out. Based on the data exposure, the research findings and discussion on the analysis of language errors in the field of morphology in the persuasion text essay can be concluded as follows: (1) There are errors in the field of morphology in the process of affixation in the text of persuasion as many as 13 errors which include (a) errors in affix placement incorrect 6 errors, (b) the error in removing the prefix has 4 errors, and (c) the error in the sound that should have been broken is not made by 3 errors. (2) There are errors in the language of morphology in the process of composition in the persuasion text composition of 4 errors. (3) There are errors in the language of morphology in the reduplication process in 2 persuasion text essays. Keywords: analysis, language errors, morphology, persuasion
