Abstract

Abstract The problem of learning in Wasilatul Huda Islamic High School is the low student learning outcomes and the average is below the KKM. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an influence of a modified type of jigsaw cooperative learning model with the learning media of baralia melali on the learning outcomes of students of grade X science in mathematics. The population in this study were all students of class X Natural Sciences, the sample was students of class XA as a control class and class XB as an experimental class. This type of research used is quasi-experimental research. The research design used is a static-group comparison. The sampling technique used was cluster random cluster technique. Data collection methods in this study are the documentation method, and the test method. Data analysis techniques using statistical techniques with t test. The results of the analysis and discussion show that mathematics student learning outcomes during the type of jigsaw cooperative learning model that is modified with the learning media are obtained =3.3964> = 2.2971 with a significance level of 5%, so that the DK and the decision of the test are rejected, the research results this is the effect of a modified jigsaw cooperative learning model with the learning media of melting baretics towards the learning outcomes of students of grade X science mathematics in Wasilatul Huda Islamic High School Ngasem Bojonegoro in the 2019/2020 school year.
