Abstract

Abstract: Based on a review conducted by researchers at the MTs Plus Al-Hadi Padangan school. The population in this study were students of class VIII MTs Plus Al-Hadi Padangan with a sample of 28 students obtained using probability sampling (cluster random sampling). This study used a quantitative research approach. The data analysis technique of this study included a prerequisite test consisting of a normality test, a linearity test, and a hypothesis test. The aim of this research is to find out whether there is an effect of the implementation of the TGT (Teams Games Tournament) learning model with the help of picture media on student achievement in social studies subjects on the land rental system of class VIII MTs Plus Al-Hadi Academic Year 2019/2020. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence of the TGT learning model (Teams Games Tournament) with the help of picture media on the learning achievements of social studies students on the subject of students in class VIII at MTs Plus Al-Hadi Padangan 2019/2020 academic year. This can be seen from the statistical calculations in chapter IV that the results of the parired samples t test on SPSS16 for windows data indicate that the Sig. (2-tailed) <0.05, i.e. 0,000 <0.05, it is accepted and rejected. This means that there is an influence of the application of the TGT learning model (Teams Games Tournament) with the help of media images on social studies subjects as the subject of the VIII MTs Plus land rental system in Bojonegoro Padangan in the Academic Year of 2020/2020.
