Abstract

Abstract The aim of this research is to find out whether the implementation of CORE learning methods (Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending) significantly influences the learning outcomes of Economics subjects in class X of Al-Amanah Sumbertlaseh Dander Bojonegoro in the second semester of 2018/2019. The sampling technique in this study was cluster random sampling, so that students selected in class X. IPS-1 as an experimental group totaling 18 students and students in class X. IPS-2 as a control group of 31 students. This study uses true experimental techniques with posttest-only control design. The results of this study are the implementation of the CORE learning method (Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending) significantly influence the learning outcomes of Economics subjects in class X SMA Al-Amanah Sumbertlaseh Dander Bojonegoro in the second semester of the 2018/2019 academic year. This is evidenced by the acquisition of the t test using polled variance with the right-side test approach, obtained tcount of 8.63, after being compared with the critical value of ttable at a significance level of 5%, which is equal to 2,012 obtained from the number of dk = n1 + n2 - 2 = 18 + 31 - 2 = 47 in the two-tailed test. Then it can be described, tcount> ttable or 8.63> 2,012. Then, H0 is rejected, and H1 is accepted. Key words: CORE (Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending) learning method, learning outcomes
