Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study was to determine the application of the Group Investigation (GI) cooperative learning model to improve student learning outcomes in class XI IPS MA Islamic students Attanwir Talun Sumberrejo 2019/2020 Academic Year. This research is a type of Classroom Action Research (CAR) research. The subjects in this study were XID2 IPS MA Islamiyah Attanwir Talun Sumberrejo class of 39 students. implemented in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely: (1) planning, (2) implementing actions, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. Based on the discussion and research results, it can be seen that there is an increase in the learning outcomes of students of class XI IPS MA Islamiyah Attanwir Talun Sumberrejo. In Cycle I, which amounted to 39 students in learning took place as many as 33 students with a percentage of 84.6 % of students completing while 6 students with a percentage of 15.4% students did not complete. In Cycle II there were 39 students with a percentage of 100% students completing while 0 students with a percentage of 0% students not completing. After implementing the application of the Group Investigation learning model in the first cycle to the second cycle increased learning outcomes by 15.4%. isi abstrak inggris Keyword: Cooperative Group Investigation, Learning Outcomes
