Abstract

Abstract This study aims to describe the effect of Economic Literacy and Parents' Income Level on Consumptive Behavior of class X IPS SMA Negeri 1 Dander. This study uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study were 50 students of class X IPS at SMA Negeri 1 Dander. The data collection method used a questionnaire and documentation. Test the validity of the instrument using the V aiken's validity and the reliability test using the Cronbach alpha test. Prior to data analysis, the prerequisite analysis was conducted, namely the normality test, multicollinearity test, autocorrelation test and heteroscedasticity test. The data analysis technique used multiple regression analysis. Hypothesis testing consists of t test (partial) and F test (simultaneous). The results of this study indicate that: (1) Economic literacy has a positive effect on the consumer behavior of class X IPS students of SMA Negeri 1 Dander (2) The level of income of parents does not have a positive effect on the consumer behavior of class X IPS students at SMA Negeri 1 Dander. (3) Economic literacy and the level of income of parents together have a positive effect on the consumer behavior of class X IPS students of SMA Negeri 1 Dander.
