Abstract

Abstract : This research is motivated by the importance of family factors in particular the attention and motivation of parents to improve student achievement in school. From the results of questionnaires and documentation with in XI IPS class of SMAN Integrated Model Bojonegoro students, it was found that students' learning achievements varied, there were those who got the highest, medium and low scores. Student achievement is influenced by many factors, including the factors of parent's attention and motivation. This study aims to determine the effect of parents' attention and motivation on learning presentations in in XI IPS class of SMAN Integrated Model Bojonegoro.This research uses a quantitative research design. Data obtained using a questionnaire (questionnaire) and documentation. While the data analysis technique uses product moment correlation analysis. The results showed that attention did not affect student achievement as indicated by rcount<rtable. That is 0.102 <0.266 at a significance of 5% and 0.102 <0.345 at a significance level of 1%. Thus Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected. While the motivation of parents does not affect student achievement as indicated by rcount<rtable.That is 0.193<0.266 at a significance of 5% and 0.193<0.345 at a significance level of 1%. Thus Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected. Similary, the attention and motivation of parents does not affect learning achievement in XI IPS class of SMAN Integrated Model Bojonegoro Keyword : attention, parental motivation, learning achievement
