Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the improvement in the quality of the process of applying the discovery learning model of students and increase learning outcomes in class X accounting students of Al-Fattah Kalitidu Vocational School 2019/2020. This research is a class action research (PTK) with the subject of research in accounting grade X students of SMK Al-Fattah Kalitidu, amounting to 22 students. This research was conducted in two cycles, each of which had four components, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. Data collection techniques were obtained from test questions, observations, questionnaires or questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is comparative descriptive technique. The results of this study indicate that the application of discovery learning model can improve the learning outcomes of students of class X AKL Al-Fattah Kalitidu Vocational School by increasing the average value of 78.64 final test of the first silus I increased to 90.83 at the end of the second cycle test. The application of discovery learning models can improve the quality of student learning processes in class X AKL Vocational High School Al-Fattah Kalitidu with a significant increase has reached the success indicator of an average value of 85 or 30% of the pre-cycle average value.
