Abstract

ABSTRACT Education is a process that prepares individuals to be able to adjust to what is in the changing environment, but education is also on of the important fields in the life of a nation. Basically education is an effort togrow and develop the potential of quality human resources (HR) by encouraging and facilitating their learning activities. The purpose of this study was (1) to describe the effect of learning facilities on students’ interest in studyig social studies subjects VII grade MTs Asy-Syakur Nglingi Ngasem 2019/2020 school year. (2) to describe the effect of teacher creativity on students’ interest in studying social studies subjects VII grade MTs Asy-Syakur Nglingi Ngasem 2019/2020 school year. (3) to describe the effect of learning facilities and teacher creativity on students’ interest in learning subjects IPS grade VII MTs Asy-Syakur Nglingi Ngasem 2019/2020 school year. The research uses a quantitative descriptive study. The populayion in this study were all students of clas VII MTs Asy-Syakur Nglingi Ngasem. The saple in this study was 76 students, class VII-A, VII-B, VII-c. The tecnique of taking this research is clear sample or quato sample. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire (questionnaire). Data analysis techniques using the prerequisite test analysis anda hypothesis testing. Based on the results of data analysis with a significant level of 5%, it was fulfilled that : (1) there was a positive and significant influence between learning facilities on learning unterest, with a significant value of 0,000 < 0,05. (2) there is a positive and significant influence of learning creativity on learning interest, with a significant value of 0,028 < 0,05. (3) there is a positive and significant influence betweem learning facilities and teacher creativity on learning interest, with significant value of 0,000 < 0,05.
