Abstract
Abstract: This study aims to determine the role of PPKn teachers in increasing interest in Civics learning for grade VII students at MTs Sabilil Muttaqien Randublatung Blora Islamic Boarding School. The formulation of the problem of this research is how the role of PPKn teachers in increasing interest in Civics Learning for grade VII students of MTs Pesantren Sabilil Muttaqien Randublatung Blora. The teacher teaches using the lecture and question and answer method. This research uses descriptive method with qualitative methods, data collection techniques which are done by observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that the researcher can conclude that the learning interest of students who get points (A) 40%, points (B) 32%, points (C) 25%, points (D) 7%. From these results it states that students' interest in learning can be stated to be increased because the presentations obtained by students in their interest in learning show the highest points, namely (A) 40%.
