Abstract

This study aims to describe the style of language found in the anthology of poetry by Laely Rahmawati, Lailatul Mukharomah, Cahyo Hasanudin, et al. Its relation to Indonesian language learning in high school. This research is a qualitative research using a qualitative description approach. This data collection technique uses library technique analysis, listening and note-taking techniques, namely data collection, data selectors, data analysis, and making research reports. The results of this study indicate that the style of language in the poetry anthology All about Corona by Laely Rahmawati, Lailatul Mukharomah, Cahyo Hasanudin, et al there are 63 data, the data are 1) comparative language style there are 23, including a) personification13 data, b) simile 5 data , c) metaphor 5 data, 2) comparative language style there are 7 data, including a) hyperbole 4 data, b) litotes 1 data, c) antithesis 2 data, 3) satire language style there are 4 data including, a) cynicism 2 data , b) sarcasm 2 data, 4) language style of affirmation there are 29 data including a) anaphora 16 data, b) epiphora 1 data, c) rhetoric 12 data.
