Abstract
This study aims to understand the learning process through WhatsApp media against learning saturation in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic in students of SMP N 1 Padangan class VIII IPS in 2021. The research that the researcher did was descriptive qualitative research, to obtain the validity of the data the researcher used data triangulation techniques from several techniques including observation, interviews and documentation. The data sources are subject teachers and students of class VIII IPS SMP N 1 Padangan. Data were analyzed qualitatively through data analysis techniques. Data reduction. Data presentation. Drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that students experience learning saturation due to various factors. These factors include internal factors such as and external factors such as the way students learn to learn does not vary. This causes learning saturation in students. In addition, the influence of a less supportive home learning environment such as crowded, noisy, and uncomfortable also causes boredom in learning.
