Keywords: writing skills, scientific work, numbered head together (nht) method, media power point Classroom Action Research on class XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 4 Bojonegoro background from initial observations showing low student learning outcomes, can be seen based on the average score of students' writing skills test results, especially in writing papers, namely 65.75. The average value is still below the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) set by the school, which is 75. This shows that student learning outcomes are still low in writing scientific papers, especially papers. Therefore, the Numbered Head Together (NHT) learning method and learning media such as PowerPoint learning media can be used as a tool to improve students' writing skills. The purpose of this study was to determine the use of learning methods and media in improving student learning outcomes in each cycle, and to determine the improvement of the learning process in class XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 4 Bojonegoro through the use of the Numbered Head Together (NHT) method and Power Point media on writing material. scientific. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research was carried out in three cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subject of this research was conducted in class XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 4 Bojonegoro, which consisted of 36 students. The collection of data used in this research is qualitative and quantitative data. Qualitative data in the form of observation sheets on the application of the Numbered Head Together (NHT) method and Power Point media, and teacher and student interviews. Meanwhile, quantitative data is in the form of data obtained from improving the results of students' writing skills obtained from test results. The results obtained from this study include: 1) the use of the Numbered Head Together (NHT) method and Power Point media in writing scientific papers in the form of very good category papers, 2) student learning outcomes in writing scientific papers in the form of papers each cycle have increased , after using the Numbered Head Together (NHT) method and Power Point media. Student learning outcomes in cycle I was 73.63 with an increase in test results of 7.88. Student learning outcomes in cycle II was 82.41 with an increase in test results of 8.78. This shows an increase in pre-cycle activities, cycles I and II, 3) the results of teacher performance and student activity through the application of the Numbered Head Together (NHT) method and Power Point media on scientific writing material in the form of papers with an average value of 91.66 % and 94.44% are included in the very high category.
